Hand Up Network welcomes Non-profit Veteran to the Team!
TYLER, Texas, November 15, 2023– Hand Up Network™ announced today that non-profit development veteran, Janet Glaze has joined the organization as its Director of Network Development.
With over two decades of experience in non-profit and marketing, Janet brings a wealth of expertise in Fundraising, Strategic Planning, Branding, and Event Production. Prior to joining Hand Up Network, she held front-line development positions with various non-profit organizations, supporting international and domestic humanitarian relief, disaster services, healthcare, education, and veterans’ initiatives.
“Janet and her husband Randy first became aware of Hand Up Network during our oversight of the Emergency Operations effort for the Panola County Tornado Disaster in 2021 and have developed a passion for our work and service.” stated Samuel Smith, CEO of Hand Up Network. “Janet’s background in supporting groups like Southern Methodist University, Wounded Warrior Project, etc. brings a dedicated eye to our efforts to gather support and most important, continue to change the lives of East Texans in need for the better!”
Glaze has a MBA in Healthcare Administration and BSBA in Marketing from National University, San Diego. She and her husband Randy relocated back to East Texas in 2017 from the Metroplex. They are the proud parents of two adult children and are excited to help Hand Up Network continue and expand its impact across the region.

This includes helping us find the right people, at the right time, to continue His work! We can’t wait to see how He uses Janet in this role to help Hand Up Network’s increase our impact on East Texas!”
