East Texans needs jobs. Many need a place to purchase inexpensive items for their children and family. Others, need to learn job skills that can provide opportunities for Employment across our region. The Hand Up Network Retail Training Center is designed to do all of this. We take gently used donations from kind and generous people and in turn provide them to our Community at a very reasonable cost. Any profits help the ministry to provide programs, but the skills taught during the process are the ultimate goal of our Training Center.
Our Retail Training Center accepts gently used items that we are blessed to be able to utilize almost 99% of all items donated. Some donations can not be sold, but they are used in our Response Team and Victim Services Programs to help people in immediate need. We work very closely with local Law Enforcement, Adult and Child Protective Services, etc. to provide needed items during times of crisis.
Our Retail Training Program uses a state of the art Clover System to teach specific retail skills like inventory control, merchandising, etc. By the time a Client or Retail Staff Member spends some quality time in the program, they become a very valuable asset for any retail establishment seeking highly trained personnel.

HAND UP NETWORK™ is a 501c3 non-profit based in Tyler, TX that has assembled an international team of leaders with decades of experience with a desire to come back home and bring focus to those in need in local communities. The Network offers long-term programs to people seeking a new season in life and response teams designed to address community issues and emergency response. The Network provides intentional volunteer opportunities for people wanting to provide support within their programs and opportunities to engage via Response Teams. The Hand Up Network was awarded the GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency and a National Top-Rated Nonprofit for 2020! This is the highest level of achievement possible.
