Green Acres Baptist Church seeks to ensure that their Members get involved in their community. Today, Green Acres 6th Grade Youth took the better part of a morning to volunteer at the Hand Up Network. The group of over 40 engaged throughout the ministry providing support with Merchandising, Office Re-alignment, and Deep Cleaning. These kids worked hard the entire time they were at Hand Up Network and the impact they were able to make on our ministry was substantial. Great kids, doing amazing things for people trying to get to a new season in life! Thank you to the Green Acres Pastoral Team, the Interns, and Adults that worked side by side with these amazing kids!
HAND UP NETWORK™ is a 501c3 non-profit based in Tyler, TX that has assembled an international team of leaders with decades of experience with a desire to come back home and bring focus to those in need in local communities. The Network offers long-term programs to people seeking a new season in life and response teams designed to address community issues and emergency response. The Network provides intentional volunteer opportunities for people wanting to provide support within their programs and opportunities to engage via Response Teams.
