Terri grew up in Silsbee, Texas and attended Lamar University in Beaumont.  She has many years of experience working in the Property and Casualty Insurance business in Houston and along the Texas Gulf Coast.  Her time in this industry allowed her to not only meet her husband of 20+ years, Clayton, but it also developed a passion to serve those that were going through hardships in life. 

Terri took some time off to be Mom to her two girls, but also obtained her Insurance Adjusting License that allows her to work and assist her husband.  She became aware of the work of Hand Up Network and wanted to take her passion to serve those in need to the next level.  There’s just something great about using the skills God has provided you to serve those in your own community!

Terri and Clayton live just outside of Tyler on Lake Palestine.  They are the proud parents of two amazing daughters, Aspyn who plays softball on scholarship for Galveston Community College, and Berlyn who plays softball for Bullard High School.  Berlyn hopes to continue her softball career at the next level.  Terri obviously loves Softball and can regularly be seen volunteering in the concession stand for Bullard Panther games.  She is starting to pick up Golf, and hopes to progress on the links in the near future.  You can always count on Terri pulling for her hometown Houston Sports Teams and taking advantage of any chance to enjoy time with her family.
