With over 25 years’ experience working with fundraising professionals, Ruth enjoys supporting the efforts of her teammates by developing grant proposals, keeping accurate donor records, and encouraging her colleagues in their work. After a number of years working and traveling with international organizations—The Evangelical Development Ministry, Mercy Ships, and Medical Ministry International, Ruth has turned her attentions toward helping in East Texas. She began working with Hand Up Network in April, 2019.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Ruth spent 15 years in Coppell, Texas, continuing to raise her family, before moving to Van. Her husband John is the President/CEO of RemTecH Associates, LLC, a materials management and consulting company. They enjoy time with their four married children, but especially delight in their 11 grandchildren. Ruth has taught Bible for over 50 years, holds a Certificate of Ordination, has self-published The Quick Chronology Workbook in cooperation with The Bible…Basically, and on Sundays can be found playing her violin on the praise team at Canton Foursquare Church.
