Dawn Pitcock

Director of Administration

There is very little that happens at Hand Up Network that Dawn is not fully engaged and trying to ensure that every resource is optimized to serve those in need. You will find Dawn going that extra mile to support our team in all our programmatic efforts. Dawn has over 30 years’ experience working in all areas Human Resources, Finance, and Accounting holding both SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications from the Society of Human Resources.

Dawn has extensive knowledge of labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, and development of organizational culture. Prior to joining Hand Up Network in September of 2020, she has worked with Manufacturing and Oil and Gas Organizations along the Texas Coast.  In addition to Dawn’s Day to day duties she is also certified as a Victim Advocate through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s Victim Advocate Training (TVAT).

Originally from Katy, Texas, Dawn and her husband Bryan moved to Tyler after they became empty nesters to enjoy a smaller community lifestyle from that of the hustle and bustle of Houston.   Bryan works in Civil Engineering and together with his partner of the last 10 years have built McDonald Engineering, LLC.  Their daughter Taylor is a Masters’ Graduate of Oklahoma University with a Degree in Secondary Education after achieving her Bachelors in Sports Medicine at Louisiana State University.
