Wilma Jamerson

Director of Network Development

When human beings experience trauma or severe life stress, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel.  Wilma’s great passion is helping to bring healing to people who have been or going through these experiences.  It’s her honor to work with Hand Up Network by assisting people in helping themselves become peaceful, complete, whole and safe.  No single approach is right for every individual, and Hand Up Network offers programs and services in a systematic approach.

Wilma has an extensive administrative background which includes Medical and Education disciplines. Her educational background includes a BA in Business Management from Cambridge State University in Honolulu, Hawaii, Volunteer Service with the Literacy Council, American Cancer Society (Relay for Life and Pink Ribbon Getaway) and the Salvation Army.

WiIma lovingly refers to her husband, Reggie, as her “gift from God.”  Reggie works as a nurse at University of Texas Health East Texas Hospital and also considers his career a ministry.  The Jamersons relocated from California where their daughter still lives there with her husband and Wilma’s darling granddaughter.
