Victim Services Coordinator
Itzel Diego is a dedicated and caring person who has a deep interest in helping crime victims. She believe that having a healthy support system is key to be able to move forward. Itzel is currently finishing her senior year at Stephen F. Austin State University School of Social Work. She is a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society, the official national social work honor society. As a future Social Worker, Itzel strongly believes in self-determination and helping people recognize their strengths to find empowerment within themselves.
Itzel is a loving mother to two amazing children and enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible. Being fully bilingual, Itzel hopes to reach into the Hispanic community to raise awareness of the services available to crime victim survivors. She is a certified medical interpreter that can help provide a bridge when language barriers exist.
